For nearly four decades, Michael A. Muscato has led the development of enterprise integration, transaction processing, interoperability, and healthcare information exchange technologies through Muscato Corporation and M2 Systems Corporation. Company Orgins (1986-2000)
Muscato Corporation was founded in 1986 by Michael A. Muscato as a software development and consulting organization focused on application interoperability and transaction processing solutions for financial institutions and large commercial enterprises.
During the late 1980s and throughout the 1990s, the company developed ENGIN® (Enterprise Generic Integrator), a proprietary middleware platform designed to bridge communications between Edit disparate business applications and technology environments. Long before interoperability became a standard enterprise requirement, ENGIN provided a scalable framework for messaging, routing, translation, transformation, and transaction processing.

Formation of M2 Systems Corporation (2001– 2002)
In February 2001, Michael Muscato established M2 Systems Corporation and subsequently reacquired the technology assets, intellectual property, and product portfolio originally developed by Muscato Corporation, including the ENGIN platform. M2 Systems Corporation was formally incorporated in Florida in Apr, 2002.
